Keep in Mind:”The fear of man bringeth a share: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe” (Proverbs 29:25
Wisdom is provided for living an ordered life. Wickedness and unrighteousness affect the entire community. However, God and god’s laws are the ultimate sources of justice, and righteousness will prevail. God wants people to reverse Him and obey Him by ordering their lives in the way of God.

Keep in mind:”Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength, nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard” (Ecclesiastes 9:16)
The parable of a poor man who saved a town is shared as an example of quiet, thoughtful wisdom. Wisdom is greater than strength, and soft-spoken wisdom is better than loud words of foolishness.

Devotional Reading: Genesis 2:8-24
Keep in Mind: “Awake, O north wind and come, though south: blow upon my garden that the spice thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.” (Song of Solomon 4:16)
Solomon expresses his feelings of love for his bride. He cherishes her love. While traditional interpretations see this book as an allegory of the relationship between God and Israel, and Chris and the church, people today and find encouragement in these words as they contemplate love and commitment.

Jesus teaches wisdom as it applies to our attitude toward Him and in the way we relate to others. Specifically, keeping the law requires more than outward obedience. It requires a change of heart.

Keep in mind: “But I [Jesus] say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven, for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew 544-45)
It is easy to love a neighbor and hate an enemy, but Jesus teaches that love and prayer are to be extended to our enemies.

Jesus teaches disciples not to worry about daily necessities, as God supplies our needs. It takes faith to trust in God’s provisions. When one puts his or her life in God[s hands, worry and anxiety diminish
